Behavior Policy
We use a stoplight to designate the colored areas. Each student will begins every day on the green light. Every time the student makes a bad choice, he/she will move the clip.
Pink: Superstar! Your child showed exceptional behavior today!
Purple: Your child had an awesome day!
Green: Your child made great choices today!
Yellow: Your child made a bad choice after two warnings. This clip is your child’s warning.
Blue: Your child continued to make a bad choice after several warnings. Your child will sit at a table for five minutes on the thinking chair and make a forgiveness card.
Red: I will call or send a note home explaining your child’s behavior.
It is very important that you ask your child if he/she stayed on green each day and check the behavior chart located in your child’s BEE Binder. This reinforcement at home will encourage your child to make great choices in school! Thank you for your support and cooperation.
